Discover Summer in the Grand Massif

If you've only ever experienced the mountains in winter, summer in the Grand Massif might surprise you. As the snow disappears, the mountains become a playground for walking, cycling, water sports and outdoor adventures — or simply somewhere to slow down and enjoy the scenery.

Whether you want to spend your days hiking or biking, find adventures for the whole family, explore the surrounding villages and lakes, or simply relax in the mountain air, a summer holiday here can be as active or as leisurely as you choose.

From days spent in the mountains to exploring a little further afield, there's plenty to discover during a summer stay in the Grand Massif.

Explore a little further

One of the things we love about our location is how easy it is to explore beyond the Grand Massif. From Alpine towns and lakeside villages to neighbouring Switzerland and Italy, there are plenty of places within easy reach for a day out.

Slow things down

Of course, a summer holiday in the mountains doesn't have to be all go, go, go. Spend a lazy afternoon on the chalet terrace, pack a picnic and find a quiet spot amongst the Alpine meadows, or simply sit beside one of the many mountain lakes and watch the world go by.
